Monsoon Books launched A Yellow House by Karien Van Ditzhuijzen at the Singapore Writers Festival in November 2018. This is a poignant coming-of-age story, told in the voice of inquisitive Maya and explores the plight of migrant domestic workers in Singapore. The response was immediately very positive and we have had multiple requests for review copies from the media and book reviewers. We thought we would list just a few of the nice words that have been shared about the book and features in the media:

‘An intelligent and engaging read on home-making and heart-keeping in Singapore.’ Audrey Chin, author

‘This captivating novel gives voice to a silent army of resilient women.’ Jo Furniss, author
